The very nature of the wub wub wub can probably be best described as Ephemeral, the ways in which we communicate information online have so rapidly diversified, changed and died out be it the posting of posts, the manner in which users interact with each other and even simply the function of websites themselves, with one exception:

>the guestbook

The guestbook is a relic of an unfeeling internet. A relic of web culture, of old as the medium in which it is presented and while many may prefer other modes such as email, I've always felt that a guestbook has much more meaning and charm. It feels inherently more personal, especially common in the case of old sites that may have shifted or changed aesthetically. Having that guestbook acts like a little digital flag in the sand that says "this person was here in this very moment" even if they no longer are.

I hope you enjoy this little project on my site, and perhaps visit from time to time to tell me how you are doing.

If you are familiar with image-board culture and syntax you SHOULD hopefully feel at home here, its largely all the same with a few elements hidden to make this setup feel more like a guestbook then a bunch of threads.

I don't quite remember how I got here, but this place feels nostalgic.
Here's another moment frozen in time for the background to scroll past.
